A little about me.
I’m Kasey, and documenting love is my gift — the thing I wholeheartedly believe I was born to do.
When I’m asked to describe my photography style, I've come to say that my artistry doesn't fit into one formula, aesthetic, or style. Rather, it’s inspired by the depth and truth of human love and connection.
For me, our artistic collaboration is anchored in genuinely knowing you and your people. Learn a little about what made me the artist that I am today, and why wedding art is my true calling.

1 / WHEN I’M NOT TAKING PHOTOS, I’M USUALLY
Traveling the world with the love of my life, and my business partner, Callum. Seeing the world is our other great passion. Our favorite countries are Indonesia, Guatemala, Jordan, and Mexico!
2 / I’M SURPRISINGLY GREAT AT
Freediving! My longest breath hold is 4 minutes and I’ve dove to 100 feet with no air. I trained at schools in Thailand and Indonesia, where the water is warm and there are no great whites.
3 / BEFORE I WAS A PHOTOGRAPHER, I GOT A DEGREE IN
Social work, with a focus on nonprofits. I was the president of my university’s Social Work Association. This work gave me an even deeper appreciation for the human experience and the importance of connection.
SOCIAL MISSION & IMPACT
My humanity will always come before my career.
In alignment with that belief, I offer transparency about my closely held values and Kasey Powell Wedding's support of social and environmental causes.
BLACK LIVES MATTER
We advocate for the safety and sanctity of BIPOC lives. We do not accept weddings that: take place on a plantation, involve cotton fields or raw cotton, include the use of Native American Headdress, or showcase real fur.
LGBTQIA+AND WOMEN'S RIGHTS
We believe every human deserves the fundamental right to choose who they love, how they identify, and to maintain bodily autonomy.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
We aim to take care of our planet by limiting our carbon footprint as a paper-free company. If you’re local, we’ll be rolling up to your wedding in my Hybrid Prius!
Kasey Powell Weddings is proud to donate 1% of all profits to Amazon Watch, a 501 (c)(3) organization that protects the rainforest and advances the rights of Indigenous peoples in the Amazon Basin. KPW has also planted over 600 trees in the names of her couples through another incredible nonprofit, One Tree Planted.
